Jake Hager Says He’s Retired From Wrestling, Is Now Running A Trucking Company In Florida

Jake Hager is done with the world of professional wrestling.

There hasn’t been much news on the Jake Hager front within the past year or so, as he last wrestled in November 2024. Hager worked a handful of independent dates after his contract with AEW expired in May 2024.

Speaking with Saraya on the latest episode of the Rulebreakers podcast, Hager said that he’s retired from wrestling and is now focused on his new trucking company.

“I’m getting out of wrestling. I’m pretty much — I could say I’m retired from it. I started a trucking company, running routes through Tampa and Florida. I’m not driving, not me, I got people driving. I’m excited, something to sink my teeth into.”

Hager is seemingly finished with combat sports all together, as he confirmed his retirement from MMA back in September 2023.

As things currently stand, Hager’s last bout took place at Banger Zone Wrestling’s Alcatraz event in Faches-Thumesnil, Frankreich on Saturday, November 2. He faced and lost to long-time RevPro star Connor Mills at that event.
