Four-Way Knockouts Tag Title Bout, The Hardys vs. Rascalz For World Tag Titles, More Added To TNA Emergence
The lineup for Emergence grows.
The next special on the docket for TNA Wrestling is Emergence on August 15th from Baltimore, Maryland. Towards the backend of the 8/7 TNA iMPACT, Director of Authority Santino Marella appeared and made multiple additions to the special.
First, he announced that Steve Maclin will be defending the TNA International Championship against Jake Something. Maclin and Something clashed over the belt on the 8/7 program, but the match ended via countout, and they continued brawling after the bell. Their Emergence bout will be no countouts and no disqualifications.
There is going to be a four-way match for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships following a dust-up involving the parties in the match. The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance & M by Elegance) will be putting the belts on the line against the following teams: Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx), The IInspiration (Jessica McKay & Cassie Lee), and the duo of Léi Yǐng Lee and Xia Brookside.
The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) are set to defend their World Tag Team Championships against The Rascalz (Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz).
In addition to that, Santino Marella brought The Nemeth Brothers (Ryan Nemeth & Nic Nemeth) out to the stage to inform them that they will not be challenging The Hardys for the belts at Emergence because Nic is suspended after attacking TNA staff. Ryan is not suspended, and he’ll be facing The Hometown Man at Emergence.
