Gunther Recalls Meeting Fan That Drove Nine Hours To See Him, ‘Appreciate It, But Never Do That Again. Do Something With Your Time That Benefits You.’

Gunther doesn’t want fans to waste their time.

Over the years, WWE has really made a point of eventizing their Premium Live Event weekends, often drawing fans from around the world to attend the show and take part in various festivities.

Speaking with The Undertaker on a recent episode of the Six Feet Under podcast, ‘The Ring General’ recalled meeting a fan who drove quite a long time to see him.

“I did a meet and greet recently. There was one person, they said they drove like nine hours or something for a meet and greet. I said to her, I was like, ‘Appreciate it, but never do that again. Do something with your time that actually benefits you. It’s a waste of time.’ She looked a bit sad, but I felt like it was the only responsible thing to say at that point. I feel like in my kid drove somewhere to see a person, I wish the same message would be transferred.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Gunther opened up about never pursuing WWE, saying that it helped him in the long run. Check out his full comments here.
