Tony Khan Wants To Do ‘Fairway To Heaven’ Charity Golf Event, ‘Fairway To Hell’ AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan discusses a crossover idea he had to host a special AEW Dynamite episode timed with another of his dreams: a Fairway to Heaven golf event.

AEW has never been shy about hosting crossover episodes. In the past, special TV episodes have coincided with events such as Shark Week, the release of Godzilla vs. Kong, and others. Now, Tony Khan has revealed that he’s considering hosting an event to coincide with a charity golf tournament.

On My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, Tony Khan revealed that his plan to host a “Fairway to Hell” episode of AEW Dynamite would coincide with a Fairway to Heaven golf tournament. He hopes these two events will unite wrestling and golf fans.

“I had this amazing idea. I really wanted to do something I think would be for a great cause, and it’s a charity golf tournament. It would be great for wrestling and great for wrestling fans. It would hopefully bring new fans to golf and wrestling. There is more of a crossover than people realize within the sports. I want to do a charity golf tournament called Fairway to Heaven and have wrestlers and golfers and people participate for charity at Fairway to Heaven and then do Dyamite in the same city or region called Fairway to Hell. I think it’d be awesome.”
