Braun Strowman Says His WWE Release Was ‘A Stupid Business Decision’
Braun Strowman is clear about his feelings around his WWE release.
Braun Strowman calls his WWE release ‘a stupid business decision’.
On the September 5th, 2022 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, Braun Strowman would return to WWE after being re-signed to the company following Vince McMahon’s retirement and Triple H’s rise to power in WWE. However, while Strowman would spend much of his second run with the company on TV and working with other budding monsters like Bronson Reed and Jacob Fatu before being released by the company once again this past May.
In a social media post last week, Strowman would react to a fan wondering why Strowman was cut if his likeness would be used so much by the company following his release. Strowman responded by stating his belief that his release was ‘a stupid business decision’.

Throughout both of his runs with WWE, Strowman would hold the WWE Universal Title as well as the RAW tag team titles during his time with the company.
Following his release, a new eating show on the USA Network featuring Strowman was announced. You can check out more details about the show, scheduled to air this fall, here.
Strowman recently also reacted to a post from Karrion Kross, noting that WWE do not care about the fans. You can read more about that here.
