Cedric Alexander Still Wants To Reunite With Hurt Syndicate, Feels TNA Is An Opportunity To Show What He’s Capable Of On His Own

When Cedric Alexander was released by WWE in February, many fans suspected that he would end up in AEW to join MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin in the Hurt Syndicate.

The four formed the Hurt Business in WWE during the pandemic, but the group was never picked back up coming out of the pandemic.

Instead of joining AEW, Cedric made a surprise appearance in TNA Wrestling in June and began working with the promotion.

Speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Cedric was asked about his decision to join TNA.

“It’s a really tiny thing. It would be so easy to be like, ‘Alright, cool, just pop right back into the Hurt Syndicate/Business and kick it with the boys,’ which would be great and something I do want to do one day, but I do feel like this is an opportunity to expand my wings and show what I’m capable of on my own. When the time is right, maybe the band does get back together and we wreck shop again,” he said.

Cedric is set to challenge Leon Slater for the TNA X-Division Championship at TNA Emergence.
