Nigel McGuinness To Challenge For IWGP World Title At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
Nigel McGuinness is prepared to walk through the Forbidden Door.
During the August 16 AEW Collision, former Ring of Honor World Champion defeated Lee Moriarty, Daniel Garcia, and Hechicero to earn the opportunity to challenge Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
After the match, Nigel requested that Daniel Garcia be in his corner for the match. Garcia accepted the offer via a handshake. Garcia and Nigel had previously teamed at AEW Double or Nothing, losing to FTR.
