Andy Quildan On RevPro Anniversary XII Being A Two-Night Event: It Lets Us Highlight Everyone On The Roster

On Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23, RevPro will host both nights of their twelve year anniversary show at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London. The show is set to feature top names like Robbie X, Leon Slater, Michael Oku, Manders, and Zack Sabre Jr.

Speaking with Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl of Fightful Overbooked for a new interview, RevPro owner Andy Quildan spoke about the choice to make this year’s anniversary show a two-night event.

“We make life a little bit hard for ourselves by being a little bit too good. The last couple of years, we’ve run the Copperbox Arena and we’ve put on these huge shows. We got our record attendance a couple years ago and came very close last year. It’s not a secret we’re putting these shows on around the AEW UK weekend. People come to expect these huge shows, these supershows, and it’s almost impossible to do in one night unless you have a venue the size of Copperbox. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the availability of a venue that size for this year. The decision was made to essentially go big or go home and run two nights at Crystal Palace and produce two huge shows and use the economics that come with being able to put the production in to one space for two nights. It was a bit of a business decision more than anything. It enables us time to highlight everyone on our roster and that everyone has time to shine. We mixed it up a little bit by making the first night a Global Wars UK show. We’re going to have a night of dream matches to kickstart our birthday celebrations.”
