Alexis Lete: A Girl In NXT Didn’t Like Me And Punched Me Straight In The Face, Giving Me A Concussion

Alexis Lete signed with WWE in August 2022 as a recruit with a volleyball background.

She was released in September 2023 without ever appearing on WWE TV.

Speaking Adam Metwally on That One Time, Alexis was asked what is the worst thing about wrestling.

“Getting hurt. Probably the concussion was the worst thing. I also broke my tailbone. I also got ringworm. Probably the concussion was the worst. There was one point where I remember, I couldn’t find my car one day and I was searching for 25 minutes for it. I started crying because I was fucked up,” she said.

She reiterated, “I broke my tailbone. Probably a concussion, though. A girl didn’t like me and straight up threw an extra move in our routine and punched me straight in the face.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Alexis discussed the myth of wrestling being fake and how she initially signed up because she thought it was fake. You can find her full comments here.
