Matt Jackson On Hangman Page, ‘It’s Cool To Be Part Of His Big Moments’
Matt Jackson reflects on what it’s meant for him to be a part of so many of Hangman Page’s big moments.
The Young Bucks, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson, have been a part of so many of the major moments in Hangman Page’s career, from helping him grow as a member of Bullet Club before AEW to being where he is now, as the face of All Elite Wrestling. Matt and Nick were ringside for both of Hangman’s AEW World Title wins, and even though they were trying to stop him from winning the gold at AEW All In: Texas, the reality is Matt Jackson couldn’t be more proud to see how far Hangman has come.
Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Jackson shared just how much it meant for him to be at ringside for yet another crowning achievement for AEW’s resident cowboy.
“It’s not lost on me how cool it has been to be part of so many of his big moments,” said Matt Jackson. “Being involved in the main event also gave me the privilege to prop myself up on a guardrail and watch the finish. I covered my smiling mouth with my hand. So proud.”
Currently, Hangman and The Young Bucks are on opposite sides of the squared circle, but the bond they have built over the years will always persist in the pride they feel for one another.
Hangman Page will next defend his AEW World Championship against MJF at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025. Meanwhile, The Young Bucks will be part of a five-on-five Lights Out Steel Cage Match, which will feature Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega, and more. Check out the full card for the event here.
