Samoa Joe Says Sweet Tooth Role Has Helped Him Show More Emotion In The Ring

Samoa Joe’s role as Sweet Tooth has helped him in wrestling.

Joe has portrayed the physical character of Sweet Tooth in both seasons of ‘Twisted Metal’, which stream exclusively on Peacock. Will Arnett handles the voice acting, which lets Joe go crazy with the art of physical expression.

Speaking with The Sportster for a new interview, Joe revealed that his silent acting as Sweet Tooth has helped him with being emotive in the ring.

“I mean, a tremendous amount, I think. Being forced, especially with the Sweet Tooth mask, which is very, very not inclined to show a lot of emotion just by its nature. Yeah, just in the practice of being that character, your body language and how you express yourself can’t help it improve. And yeah, I’ve definitely noticed myself being a little bit more emotive in the ring whenever I do things.”

As a reminder, fans can watch Joe in season two of ‘Twisted Metal’, which is now streaming on Peacock.
