John Cena Explains Why He Judges Coffee Shops On How They Make A Flat White

It’s not a secret that John Cena is a coffee connoisseur, even participating in a coffee group chat with Claudio Castagnoli and Seth Rollins.

Speaking to Bon Appetit, Cena explained how he’ll judge coffee shops based on their flat white.

“The reason I love a flat white is because coffee is a universal language throughout the world. I will judge a place based on its flat white. Some people misinterpret flat white, but that’s also how I can be like, ‘This place isn’t a real coffee shop’ or it’s not coffee first. A lot of places are food first, coffee is an accouterment.

“The best flat whites I’ve had are in Australia. Melbourne, Australia, they are coffee first people.

“The term flat white, everyone has a different interpretation of it, which is why I order a flat white instead of a latte. I want to see what I’m served.”

Cena tasted what was supposed to be a flat white, but wasn’t impressed.
