Aliyah talks about her future in the sport of pro wrestling.

In September of 2023, Aliyah was released from WWE amongst several other WWE superstars. During her time in WWE, she would spend a significant amount of time in NXT before being called up to the main roster. She would have some success, holding the record for the fastest ever victory in WWE as well as the WWE Women’s Tag Titles alongside Raquel Rodriguez.

While speaking to PWMania in a new interview, Aliyah noted that she feels like her best is yet to come.

“I’ve always felt like my best is yet to come, which is why I know I’m not done yet. I’m still too athletic, talented, beautiful, and marketable to retire this young — it just doesn’t make sense .My first appearance outside WWE, I DJed — I’d never done it before — and I sold the place out. I had everyone singing and dancing, and I didn’t even have to wrestle to have people react. That’s real power and influence. I’ve also competed in show jumping with my horse, winning multiple ribbons and championships across Florida. The sky is truly the limit for me.”

Since being released from WWE, the former tag champion has found herself competing for Destiny Wrestling in her home country of Canada.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Aliyah reflected on her record breaking victory over Natalya. You can read more about that here.
