Momo Watanabe Wins 2025 STARDOM 5STAR Grand Prix

Momo Watanabe is the winner of this year’s 5STAR Grand Prix.

This year’s 5STAR Grand Prix tournament featured some significant names, including the recently returned Bea Priestly, World of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani, Wonder of Stardom Champion Starlight Kid, newly crowned IWGP Women’s Champion Sareee and more. As with each year, the 32 participants were split into four blocks and would compete in round robin style to qualify for the knockout rounds.

In the finals of this year’s tournament, Momo Watanabe would meet AZM in the finals of the tournament in a bout that would go over the 20 minute mark. In the end, Momo would score the victory and tournament win with The Peach Thunder, winning the tournament against a game AZM.

Momo will be familiar to fans of All Elite Wrestling in the United States, where Momo has popped up on several occasions, including to challenge Mercedes Mone for the AEW TBS Championship.
