Brody King Speaks On Wearing Abolish ICE Shirt, ‘Speaking On Injustice Is Important To Me’

Brody King made headlines at AEW Grand Slam Mexico when he wore an Abolish ICE shirt for his bout.
He went on to sell Abolish ICE shirts with all proceeds going to The Local Hearts Foundation.
Speaking at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door press conference, Brody was asked about his decision to wear the shirt.
“I came from a punk rock, hardcore background. That stuff is normal in our world. Speaking on injustice is important to me. I appreciate that I work for a company that allows us to have our own voice, whether I ask for it or not [laughs]. Thank you, Tony. Using your platform for good or to help in any capacity is the right thing to do,” he said.
Brody King & Bandido won the AEW Tag Team Championships at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, defeating FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and the Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) in a three-way tag team bout.
