Karrion Kross Felt He Did His Best To Address His WWE Departure The Best Way He Could

Karrion Kross and Scarlett departed WWE on August 10th when their contracts expired and were not renewed.
Though some fans thought their situation was a work due to the nature of Kross’ promos and his use on television, Kross did a lengthy interview with Ariel Helwani where he explained what went down.
Speaking to Tom Campbell of Cultaholic, Kross was asked if he was frustrated with people thinking his departure was a work or if any publicity was good publicity.
“My only concern is that when I meet fans, I don’t like to see them confused or upset. That’s the opposite of my job. (My job) is to make them have a good time and forget abot all this stuff. Addressing it all is kind of impossible. Sometimes, I want to hang back because I think there is a way that it can be recovered and potentially turned into a story, but when enough time goes by and it’s not happening, I was like, ‘I want people to feel good about things.’ I did my best to address everything the best way that I could,” said Kross.
Kross made a surprise appearance at GCW Homecoming, attacking Matt Cardona. In a backstage promo, Kross stated, “It’s clearly not a fucking work.”
