Blake Monroe Picks Up Win Over Jordynne Grace At WWE NXT Heatwave

A win for Blake over Jordynne Grace.

There was a grudge match at NXT Heatwave between Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace. The two have been at odds since Monroe turned on Grace and cost her an NXT Women’s Championship match at WWE Evolution.

In their singles match at the NXT Premium Live Event, Grace had Monroe set up in a reverse Alabama Slam maneuver, and in the process, Monroe ripped one of the bottom turnbuckles off.

That came into play during the finish of the match. Grace walked up to Blake, and Blake tripped her up. Grace caught herself before she fell face-first into the exposed turnbuckle, but Monroe stomped her face against it.

That put Grace out, and Monroe followed up by hitting a double underhook DDT to score the win. Monroe now has a 3-1 record since arriving at WWE NXT.
