WWE Speed Titles To Be Defended On NXT Moving Forward

The WWE Speed Championships are moving to NXT.
NXT general manager Ava announced that the WWE Speed Championships will now be defended on NXT programming.
WWE Speed Women’s Champion Sol Ruca will defend her title at NXT No Mercy against the winner of a tournament that begins on September 2nd. One wrestler from Raw or SmackDown, one wrestler from TNA, one wrestler from NXT, and one wrestler from AAA will be part of the tournament.

El Grande Americano is the reigning Speed Men’s Champion.
Speed matches have a three-minute time limit, but title matches have a five-minute time limit. Speed match previously aired exclusively on X/Twitter, but stopped on July 9th. The program debuted in April 2024.
