Blindfold Match, Two Tag Team Bouts Added To 8/26 WWE NXT Lineup
Lineup for the 8/26 NXT.
The 2025 installment of NXT’s Heatwave Premium Live Event concluded, and the brand is moving towards the post-Heatwave edition of NXT on The CW.
The August 26th program is going to feature a Blindfold match between Lexis King and Myles Borne. King has been making light of Borne being partially deaf and parlayed that into a joke about him not being able to see either. NXT General Manager Ava then decided that they would meet in a Blindfold match. The last Blindfold match on WWE TV was during a November 2020 edition of NXT featuring Dexter Lumis and Trevor Lee, f.k.a. Cameron Grimes.
Joining the fray is a tag bout that’ll see The Culling (Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley) versus Wren Sinclair and a mystery partner.
There will also be a six-woman tag team match as Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx) takes on Lola Vice, ZARIA and WWE Women’s Speed and NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca. That match came about following a backstage confrontation after Jayne lost the TNA Knockouts World Title at Heatwave.
