AAA Stars Doubted Nick Khan’s Pre-Show Speech, But Didn’t Mind It

The WWE-led AAA TripleMania was a success, and there were some huge WWE names backstage.

There was a speech from Nick Khan at AAA about how they’re not there to change the company and it’s still AAA. This was met with some heavy sketpicism from our sources within AAA, but not disdain.

Multiple AAA sources that Fightful Select spoke with said that they feel as if WWE has very clearly firmly planted their flag in the company and their heavy influence was shown at TripleMania. However, none of those that reached out to us about the Nick Khan speech had any issue with it or the changes made.

Fightful Select had also reported recently that The Undertaker was going to be around AAA a lot more, with Triple H/Paul Levesque would go on to confirm. Undertaker is already an incredibly influential person backstage. WWE signed Undertaker to an unheard of (outside of Bret Hart) 15-year contract that extended 14 years after his retirement in order to utilize him in a variety of roles.
