Taz Thanks Tony Khan And AEW For Honor At 2300 Arena
After Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite went off the air, Tony Khan announced that Taz would be inducted into the 2300 Arena Hardcore Hall of Fame.
The 2300 Arena is the former ECW Arena, where Taz rose to prominence as one of the top forces in ECW.
The roster emptied the locker room, all wearing Team Taz Dojo shirts, with his son HOOK and his wife on hand for the honor as well.
On social media, Taz wrote,” I was completely blindsided & extremely surprised after this acknowledgment for me in Philadelphia last night at 2300 Arena. THANK YOU @TonyKhan & @aew
production, all the talent on the roster for taking the time to acknowledge my contributions to the industry, all the fans & that you made sure my wife and son was there right next to me last night durning it! Words cannot describe what this meant to me …thank you. Very much appreciated!”

A tribute for the ECW legend is expected to air on AEW Collision and his Hardcore Hall of Fame banner will be raised to the rafters.
AEW has a residency at the 2300 Arena through September 11.
