Matt Riddle has reportedly no showed a charity pro wrestling event in the United Kingdom.
Riddle is no stranger to controversy, with the former WWE superstar being involved in a number of controversial incidents over the years, including an incident at an airport with a police officer as Riddle was returning home from an event in India. Now, it appears he has taken that level of controversy to a new level.
On Wednesday morning, Cultaholic reported that Riddle had no-showed a charity event put on by Global Wrestling Kingdom, titled ‘A New Kingdom Rises’ in Barnsley, England. Riddle not only reportedly no showed the event – but never traveled to the UK for the show on August 31st. In addition, Riddle has also reportedly not returned his deposit for his appearance at the event. Prior to the show, Riddle had expressed issues with his flights, claiming them to be ‘cheap’. Riddle had claimed he had received another booking but would still be able to make the show, but did not respond to further messages from the promotion.

Riddle was replaced by Grado in his planned bout with Simon Miller, with the event supporting charities in support of survivors of domestic abuse, and homeless veterans.
