Ronda Rousey Says She Didn’t Hear From Anybody Regarding WWE Evolution 2
Ronda Rousey headlined the first-ever WWE Evolution event in 2018, taking on Nikki Bella in the main event.
WWE ran back its all-women’s PLE in 2025, and though Nikki was back in the ring and competing in a battle royal, Rousey was nowhere to be seen.
“I didn’t hear from anybody. It was more of the way we left it was, they were like, ‘There’s always an open door; if you ever want to come back, let us know,'” Rousey told Raj Prashad of Yahoo’s Uncrowned.
Rousey departed WWE following WWE SummerSlam 2023 where she faced Shayna Baszler in a MMA-style match. She did a few independent appearances in 2023, including ROH where she teamed with Marina Shafir against Athena & Billie Starkz.
