Jim Ross Believes Chris Jericho Will Get A Huge Reaction If He Returns To AEW

Jim Ross doesn’t want Chris Jericho to leave AEW.

Much has been made of Chris Jericho and his future in the world of wrestling. Some fans believe that Jericho will eventually make his way back to AEW, the company that he’s been with since 2019. Others believe that Y2J will resurface in WWE after spending nearly a decade away from the promotion.

On the latest episode of his Grilling JR podcast, Ross said that he thinks Jericho will get a massive reaction if he makes his return to AEW, primarily due to the fact that he’s been drumming up interest for his future.

“Oh god, yeah. He’s got a great following. He’s always treated his fans respectfully, his quality of work maintains itself. People want to see more of him. He’s smart as a whip. He’s a real businessman. I’ve said this before, I hope that he doesn’t leave AEW. We need him. We can use his skill set, his leadership. I see him countless times talking to some kid in the corner and talking about their character or their presentation. He’s got time for everybody and he’s smart as hell. He’s a student of the game in the true sense of the word. He’s a born coach.”
