Anthony Bowens: “I Get Overlooked Because I’ve Never Had An Opportunity To Go 20-30 Minutes Or More With Someone In AEW”

Anthony Bowens explains why he feels he’s overlooked.
There was a segment on the September 13th installment of AEW Collision that saw AEW producer Jerry Lynn attempt to reunite Max Caster and Anthony Bowens.
He stated that Caster has not won a singles match since their split and added that Bowens has been struggling in the mid-card of AEW. He expressed his thought that they’re stronger together. There came a moment when Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) entered the picture and started brawling with Jerry Lynn and Caster.
Bowens returned to the ring to help Lynn and Caster fight Swirl off, but Caster and Bowens quickly separated themselves once they realized that Lynn was raising both of their hands in the air. After the show, Bowens responded to an X user who noted that he is underrated. Here’s how he responded:
I get overlooked bc I’ve never had an opportunity to go 20-30 minutes or more with someone in AEW. That is really when you start to earn your stripes. You can’t make a determination without giving people the chance to prove you wrong.
