Jake Hager Doubts He’ll Get A Call For WWE Royal Rumble, ‘I Don’t Think They Like Me Very Much’
Jake Hager has retired from wrestling to focus on his trucking company, but would he rule out an appearance in the Royal Rumble?
“I sincerely doubt it,” Hager told Sportskeeda when asked about a potential Rumble appearance. “I don’t think they like me very much.”
Asked who doesn’t like him very much, Hager stated, “Whoever books the Royal Rumble.”
Hager has not competed in WWE since 2017. He joined AEW in 2019 before departing in 2024. He performed under the name Jake Swagger in WWE and is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble will take place on January 31st in Saudi Arabia.
