Mercedes Mone Further Comments On Naomi’s Pregnancy Journey: She’s A Total Badass

Mercedes Mone comments on her excitement for Naomi’s next chapter.

Mercedes Mone offers more comments supporting the next chapter for WWE Superstar Naomi, whose real name is Trinity Fatu, as she begins her journey into motherhood.

Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, and Naomi are very close. The last thing Mercedes did in WWE was hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Naomi. In fact, both women left WWE together in 2022, and although their individual paths have taken them in different directions on camera, their bond off-screen remains as strong as ever.

Naomi recently relinquished the WWE women’s World Championship after announcing that she is pregnant. In her latest Mone Mag, Mercedes Mone is excited and supportive of her friend and former tag team partner. She also explained how inspiring it was to see her start this journey while she was the WWE Women’s World Champion on camera.

“I can hardly contain my excitement—I’m going to be an aunt! Finding out that Trinity is pregnant has been one of the most joyful surprises of my life. Reflecting on the last couple of years, it’s incredible to think about the journey we’ve all been on. Life truly has a way of showering us with blessings and gifts when we least expect them,” she said. “Watching Trinity embrace this new chapter is so inspiring. It’s amazing to think that she was the women’s champion while carrying her little one. Talk about a total badass! I admire her strength and resilience, and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful moments that lie ahead for her.

“As she embarks on this journey, I’m sending her all my love and wishing her a healthy and happy pregnancy. It’s a beautiful and empowering time to witness women in sports not only achieving greatness but also starting families and returning to their passion. Their journeys inspire me and fill me with hope for my own future,” she continued. “Here’s to celebrating Trinity and all the incredible women who break barriers and redefine what it means to be a champion—both in and out of the ring. I can’t wait to meet my little niece or nephew and watch the magic unfold.”

Naomi and Jimmy Uso, her husband, further opened up about the news during a recording of Stephanie McMahon’s ‘What’s Your Story?’ podcast. To read their comments, click here.
