Charlie Dempsey Says He’s Going To Japan For A Month

Charlie Dempsey is headed overseas.
At NXT Homecoming, Charlie Dempsey announced that will be headed to Japan for a month. He expects Wren Sinclair to hold down the fort while he is away.
Bobby Roode and Joe Hendry also appeared in the segment after Wren said “Glorious,” bringing in Roode, and Hendry’s name, bringing in Hendry.
It is unclear which promotion Dempsey will compete for in Japan. WWE has had a working relationship with Pro Wrestling NOAH, which saw Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights competing in the NOAH N-1 Victory 2024 tournament. Omos has also worked in Japan with NOAH. Yoshiki Inamura has been part of NXT, coming over from NOAH.
Fightful will provide more details on Dempsey’s trip to Japan when they are known.
