Triple H Questions Stephen A Smith Putting Goldberg At Number One In His Top Five Wrestlers, ‘He Knows It’s Going To Piss People Off’
Triple H has figured out Stephen A Smith’s game.
Appearing on First Take, Stephen A listed his top five wrestlers. He started with The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) at number five. The Rock came in at number four followed by Hulk Hogan at number three.
Ric Flair was number two.
The number one spot went to Goldberg. Stephen A defended his pick by pointing out Goldberg’s walk to the ring and undefeated streak.
Triple H reacted by saying, “What he does for a profession is piss people off, right. That’s what he does. What he did is bait and switched it. He set up a list that is, arguably, accurate. The Road Warriors, The Rock, Hogan, Flair, he left out a few because it’s just a top five. Then, what he does is he comes in and Stephen A’s it, and he goes Goldberg at number one because he knows that is the name that is going to piss off the maximum amount of people. All time, putting Goldberg at one. I’m not going to say he’s not great. I love Bill, he’s a great performer and had great moments in this business, but putting him at one? Come on.”
Stephen A said Randy Savage and Dusty Rhodes made his honorable mention.
