Mistico Defeats MJF, Wins CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship At CMLL 92 Anniversary

Mistico kept his mask and captured the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship at CMLL 92nd Anniversary, defeating MJF.

The finish saw Místico submit MJF with La Mistica.

MJF went full Homelander with his entrance attire, complete with an American flag cape.

Mistico was busted open early in the bout after getting thrown into the steel post. The match featured highlights such as MJF hitting a package piledriver on the apron, MJF landing a Fosbury flop, and Mistico kicking out of a jumping tombstone.

This marks the first reign with the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship for Mistico. MJF held the title for 50 days and made one successful title defense.

MJF will now head to Toronto to face Mark Briscoe in a Tables N Thumbtacks match at AEW All Out.
