On the bill for AEW All Out was a trios match that saw the trio known as The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) versus The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin).

The issues between the two picked up when The Demand showed up during the AEW World Tag Team Title four-way match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and effectively removed Lashley and Benjamin from the bout, which led to the crowning of new champions.

Fast forward to All Out, The Demand defeated The Hurt Syndicate. It was Ricochet pinning MVP to secure the win for his team.
