Syuri Returns To STARDOM, Will Compete On 9/27

Syuri has returned to STARDOM.
She made an appearance at the Osaka show on Tuesday and announced she will compete on Saturday, September 27.
Prior to her injury, Syuri to pursue the IWGP Women’s Championship that she lost to Sareee. Her return statement followed the same sentiment, saying she would be going after the title.
In July, Suyri announced that she would be undergoing elbow surgery. She made her AEW debut as part of the women’s casino gauntlet at AEW All In. She entered the gauntlet at number 11.
A vignette aired for Syuri promoting her impending arrival in AEW during ROH Supercard of Honor.
It was previously announced that she would be taking a break from STARDOM. She had her final match in the promotion on July 6th against Ranna Yagami.
As part of her departure press conference, Syuri said she would be taking time off to heal from injuries and that she was going to “level up” overseas.
Along with previously holding the IWGP Women’s Title, she is a former World Of Stardom Champion, Goddesses Of Stardom Champion with Giulia, and Sendai Girls Tag Team Champion with Hikaru Shida.
