Parker Boudreaux Thinks Brock Lesnar Comparisons Were A Blessing And A Curse, ‘We’re So Different In So Many Ways’

Parker Boudreaux comments on Brock Lesnar comparisons.
Boudreaux was introduced to the majority of wrestling fans before he even debuted for WWE, as Paul Heyman co-signed him as the ‘Next Big Thing’, the former nickname of Brock Lesnar.
Fast forward to 2025 where Boudreaux now wrestles on the independent scene after stints with both WWE and AEW. Speaking with SoCal Val of WrestlingNews.co for a new interview, the 27-year-old said that the Lesnar comparisons were a blessing and a curse for him.
“Both. A blessing and a curse because obviously, I’m not Brock Lesnar. I’m not the next Brock Lesnar. I mean, he’s probably the greatest athlete/pro wrestler of all time, whether that goes UFC, WWE, NFL even. He’s a once in a lifetime athlete. I seem the similarities, we’re almost the same height, same weight. We’re very explosive and athletic and crazy and have that insane factor that you can teach inside the ring or outside of the ring. We’re so different in so many ways, he’s his own beast. He’s possibly the greatest athlete of all time. He is Brock Lesnar and I’m trying to be the first and only Parker Boudreaux.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Boudreaux spoke about possibly returning to WWE and AEW in the future. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
