Tony Khan makes a huge addition to the women’s division.
On the September 24 edition of AEW Dynamite, Khan revealed that the promotion will be crowning their inaugural Women’s Tag Team Championships in the near future. This reaction got a big reaction from the live fans in attendance.
At ringside, Renee Paquette revealed the belts to the live crowd, garnering another big reaction. Aside from the gender branding, the titles are nearly one-to-one clone of the Men’s AEW World Tag Team Championships, which were introduced after the company’s inception in 2019.
