On the September 25 edition of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan and Renee Paquette shocked the world of wrestling by introducing AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Plenty of names reacted to the news on social media, including wrestling’s top female star, Mercedes Mone. ‘The C.E.O’ chimed in by putting out a call for someone to be her tag team partner.

As of publish time, Mercedes Mone currently holds the TBS Championship, the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, the EWA Women’s Championship, the CMLL World Women’s Championship, the DW Women’s Championship, the Prime Time Wrestling Women’s Championship, the BestYa Wrestling Women’s Championship, and the Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship.
Furthermore, Mone has a decorated history with tag team titles, as she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on three separate occasions from 2019 to 2022.
