Komander comments on his rope walking spot and how it began.

Since debuting in All Elite Wrestling, Komander has shown off his lucha libre style which has caught on with fans. One spot that has fans out of their seats when he performs is his rope walking spot that leads to a major dive. Now, he has revealed that the move started out as a way for the luchador to relax and meditate.

While speaking to Hey! (EW) in a new interview, Komander was asked by RJ City how his rope walking spot began, with Alex Abrahantes translating.

“It started as a game of relaxation. Like meditation. Oh, he says that he spoke a lot, just like you. Helped him calm down. And now, it’s the way that he basically gets in a zen state of mind.”

On the September 27th edition of AEW Collision, Komander would face off with Kyle Fletcher with the TNT Championship on the line. You can read the full results from this week’s edition of AEW Collision here.
