Mads Krule Krugger On Ranking One Spot Above Adam Priest In The PWI 500: That Was Cooler To Us Than The Number

Mads Krule Krugger reacts to his PWI 500 ranking.

The 2025 edition of the PWI 500 was released to the public on Tuesday, September 23. Notably, the list featured MLW World Heavyweight Champion Mads Krule Krugger at the #58 spot. Right behind him, the #59 spot was awarded to Adam Priest, one of Krugger’s best rivals.

Speaking with Jeremy Lambert and SP3 of Fightful Overbooked, Krugger reacted to the ranking, saying that it was cool to rank right after one of his best friends.

“People always go back and forth on that list and what it means. To me, it shows people appreciate the work that I’ve done. That’s what it’s really about. There are fan polls everywhere. Three years ago, I was the Georgia Wrestler of the Year and that was a thing done amongst the business and the guys. It’s a thing that shows you’re appreciated, the work you’ve done is appreciated, and people are seeing you. They really put Adam at 59 because that is how old he is [laughs]. That was cooler to us than the number, me and him together. That’s my boy.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Krugger reacted to his recent busy schedule. Check out his full comments on the matter by clicking here.
