Mark Coleman states that he isn’t finished competing in combat sports.

Coleman is a legend of both the mixed martial arts and pro wrestling industries, having featured in both. However, his combat sports pedigree has been well documented, as he featured as a pioneer in the early days of mixed martial arts attempted to break into the mainstream. Coleman features as a pivotal character in the newly released ‘The Smashing Machine’ biopic on Mark Kerr’s life.

In a new interview with WBNS 10TV to promote the release of the movie, Coleman noted that he isn’t finished competing, teasing a possible boxing match.

“I do plan on competing in something here soon. I’m I’m not done with competing. I don’t know what in. It might even be a boxing match. Who knows? Don’t count me out.”

Coleman originally retired from mixed martial arts in 2013, last competing in the UFC in 2010.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Coleman spoke about Ryan Bader’s portrayal of him in ‘The Smashing Machine’ joking that the former UFC star should have been more ripped for the movie. You can read more about that here.
