CM Punk, LA Knight, And Jey Uso Engage In Heated Promo On WWE Raw As Tensions Rise Over Next World Heavyweight Title Contender
Tensions continue to grow between CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso.
Punk kicked off his promo with a few light-hearted jokes before focusing on the match between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WWE Clash In Paris. Punk went on to say that he wants to end the year the same way that he started it, which is by beating Seth Rollins on Netflix.
LA Knight proceeded to interrupt Punk to a massive reaction. Knight threw his first verbal barb by saying that Punk is a terrible champion despite being a great husband. Things got heated when Knight bragged about beating Rollins twice, noting that Punk has never defeated the World Heavyweight Champion.
Jey Uso was out next. After soaking in his reaction, Uso said that he’s up next because he never got his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship. Jimmy Uso came down to the ring, but Knight kept flapping his gums at Jey before eating a superkick.
The segment ended with Punk taking out Jey after he attempted to take him down with a superkick. Jimmy paid back the favor and laid out Punk before retreating with Jey.
