Santos Escobar Moved To WWE Alumni Section, Posts Video Captioned ‘Palante’
Santos Escobar is officially a free agent after his WWE contract expired at midnight on Tuesday.
On social media, Escobar posted a video captioned “Palante,” which means forward or onward.
Santos Escobar was also moved to the alumni section of the WWE website.

Escobar signed with WWE in 2019. He last wrestled at AAA x WWE Worlds Collide 2025: Los Angeles in June.

Outside of WWE, Escobar performed as King Cuerno in Lucha Underground. He also wrestled extensively as El Hijo del Fantasma across CMLL, AAA, and TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. He’s expected to be in demand if he ends up leaving WWE.
In an update, WWE sources say that Santos’ deal will be up at midnight. The company has made attempts to re-sign him, but he passed on the offers.
