Ethan Page Def. Mustafa Ali To Retain NXT North American Title At NXT vs. TNA Showdown

The third NXT versus TNA bout on the night at NXT vs. TNA Showdown saw Mustafa Ali challenging Ethan Page for the North American Championship.
As a part of Mustafa Ali’s entrance, it started with his first WWE theme song, ‘Go Hard’ featuring Maino, before transitioning to his current TNA theme.
The backend of the bout saw Ali dive onto Page, and they went over the commentary desk. As Ali was taking Page back to the ring, his foot got tied up in one of the commentary desk headset cords.
By the time Ali noticed that the cord was tangled up in his foot, Page had regained his wits and shoved Ali off the top turnbuckle. He followed up on that by putting Ali away with the Twisted Grin to retain the NXT North American Championship.
