Roman Reigns: We’re Just Now Seeing The Pot Of Gold At The End Of The Rainbow With Jey Uso

Roman Reigns discusses the rise of Jey Uso.

Jey Uso has ascended to the top of the card in 2025, winning the men’s Royal Rumble and going on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.

Roman Reigns has always believed.

“I don’t know about handing down the mantel. I don’t know if anybody can handle that responsibility and obligation. Jey, I saw this from the beginning. Just like Sami. I’ve seen this beautiful opportunity within Jey a long time ago. We’re just now seeing that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow with him. There is so much more left to do with him. There are so many more accolades and opportunities for him to capitalize on. He got there, that’s one of the hard parts, but the hardest part is staying there and staying relevant. To stay at the tip top of the mountain and breathe at that altitude. To do it like I did. I wish he would listen to me a lot better. I wish his brother would shut up and listen to me as well. It would make life a lot easier. At the end of the day, I have proof of concept. I’m the one who has mapped this thing out. I’m the only one who understands who to navigate these waters and I wish they would listen to me,” said Roman on the Pat McAfee Show.

Roman has reunited with Jey and Jimmy Uso on WWE TV, preaching the same message of listening to him.

Elsewhere during the interview, Reigns talked about working on “Street Fighter.” You can find his full comments here.
