SPOILER: Talent Returns From Injury, Appears At AEW Collision Taping
A talent comes back who’s been out since early 2025.
There was a singles match between Josh Alexander and Kota Ibushi at the 10/8 AEW Collision taping at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
The match came to an end via countout after Ibushi was injured and eventually had to be stretchered off. As the medical team was tending to Ibushi, making his return was Mark Davis, formerly of the Aussie Open tag team with current TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher.
Fightful’s Robert DeFelice is in attendance and passed along the note that Davis showed up after the Ibushi versus Alexander match ended. Davis and Alexander were chased off by Kenny Omega.
Davis had been sidelined since early 2025. It had been reported by the Wrestling Observer site that he was out with a fractured foot. Davis suffered an injury in the fall of 2023 and came back in October 2024.
