AJ Francis: I Tried To Get John Cena On A Song With Hit Row, He Said That He Wouldn’t Be Able To Hang With Us

AJ Francis tried to score a collab with John Cena.

Cena is often regarded as the best wrestling rapper ever, beating out some other great names like R-Truth, Max Caster, and Swerve Strickland.

Apparently, the ‘Never Seen Seventeen’ was once asked to collaborate with the popular rap group Hit Row. In a new interview with Shakiel Mahjouri, AJ Francis recalled getting turned down by Cena, who claimed that he couldn’t keep up with the faction.

“John Cena himself told me that he couldn’t rap with me and that he would be doing a disservice to himself if he tried. I asked John to get on a song with me when I was still in WWE. He was like, ‘Bro, I can’t. I can’t do that anymore. It would be a disservice. I’ve heard the things that you do and I wouldn’t be able to hang with you guys.’ I was trying to get him on a song with all of Hit Row and he was like, ‘Nah, I can’t do it.’

Cena is set to face AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel. Check out the current lineup for that event by clicking here.
