IYO SKY: I Think Stephanie Vaquer & I Could Do Some Interesting Things If We Teamed Up Someday

SKY heaps praise onto Vaquer.

It was at WWE’s Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event that IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer clashed for the then-vacant WWE Women’s World Championship.

Vaquer emerged victorious from the 19-minute bout to capture her first title on the main roster. That bout was looked back on by SKY as she was being interviewed by The Japan Times. She praised Vaquer and added that they could do something ‘interesting’ if they were to form a tag team.

“Stephanie is an incredible wrestler, not only skilled in South American style but also with ample experience wrestling in Japan. We matched well, so it was fun to wrestle her. In the WWE women’s division, there are several wrestlers, like Bianca and Rhea, who I feel can help us improve each time we wrestle — and she is definitely one of them. I think we could do some interesting things if we teamed up someday.”

Next up on the docket for Vaquer is Crown Jewel: Perth. She’ll be facing WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to determine the next Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.
