Paul Walter Hauser: I Want To Be The Guy That Wins An Academy Award But Is Also Bleeding His Face Off In The 2300 Arena

Paul Walter Hauser wants to make history.

When he’s not starring in films like ‘Inside Out 2’ and ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’, Paul Walter Hauser is often getting rowdy inside of a professional wrestling ring. In 2025 alone, Hauser has wrestled for MLW, ROH, PROGRESS Wrestling, DEFY Wrestling, and Wrestling REVOLVER.

Speaking with Buff Bagwell, the 38-year-old spoke about his desires in wrestling, saying that he wants to win big awards while still going crazy in wrestling.

“I would 1000% be open to a limited schedule with WWE or AEW or something like that. I know Logan Paul has been doing his thing. Logan Paul is by all accounts this self-made brilliant businessman and superstar, multi-faceted. My thing is like, I want to be the guy who could win an academy award or host these big charity events but is also bleeding his face off in the 2300 Arena. For me, that’s interesting, like what if Paul Giamatti or Daniel Day-Lewis or Phillip Seymour Hoffman or John C. Reilly, what if these respected actors were also doing matches at a wrestling show. I think that’s fascinating.”

In a separate interview, Paul Walter Hauser recently said that DDP and Adam Copeland watched his first match and provided feedback on it. Check out his full comments here.
