Mike Santana Wins TNA World Title At TNA Bound For Glory

Mike Santana captured the TNA World Title at TNA Bound For Glory, defeating Trick Williams in the main event.

The finish saw Santana hit Spin The Block for the three count.

Prior to the finish, Santana kicked out of the Trick Shot knee, then countered another Trick Shot with a clothesline. He followed up with the Spin the Block for the victory.

After the match, Nic Nemeth was looking to cash in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy but Elijah returned and stopped him. Frankie Kazarian, who co-won the gauntlet, tried to cash in, but didn’t have the trophy.

Santana was busted open early in the bout. Later in the match, Trick confronted Sanatana’s daughter Arianna and asked, “Who is your daddy now?” Arianna slapped Trick.

This is the first reign as TNA World Champion for Mike Santana. Trick held the title for 141 days after defeating Joe Hendry at WWE NXT Battleground to win it. He made six successful title defenses.
