Darby Allin: I Was Able To Retire My Dad With The Money That I’ve Made From AEW

Darby Allin is putting his money to good use.
There have been recent headlines about Darby Allin doing great things with the money he has made from his wrestling career. For example, news broke back in August about Allin opening a free skatepark in the city of McDonough, Georgia.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani for a new interview, the 32-year-old revealed that he was able to retire his father, who helped him prepare for his Mount Everest climb,
“I had my dad retire. With AEW and the money I was able to make, I’m like, ‘Just retire dad. Be my personal assistant.’ He’s like, ‘What the hell is your personal assistant?’ I’m like, ‘Alright, you’re going to fly to Poland and climb up a mountain in your underwear and sit in a frozen waterfall for 30 minutes.’”
Elsewhere in the interview, Darby Allin praised Jon Moxley for being a locker room leader in AEW. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
