Live Coverage
– Renee Paquette interviewed Kris Statlander and Toni Storm. Storm says she doesn’t know who she is without the Women’s World Championship, but questions if Satlander knows who she is at all. The interview eventually spills into the ring, and both women attack one another, tempting the other with using the championship belt as a weapon. Ultimately, it ends with a kiss to Statlander’s forehead
– Jack Perry is shown backstage, sharpening his blade, and explains that even though he still likes Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson, they ultimately let him down, and he needed to go back to find someone who actually appreciates him and has his back.
* The Demand (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) def. The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin)
– Jon Moxley and Darby Allin come face-to-face… Sort of. They are separated by glass and what appears to be an isolated room. MOX said Allin could still be on the right side of the war. Allin says he’s considered joining the group but doesn’t respect Moxley after what he did to Bryan Danielson. MOX says he did what he had to do. They go back and forth with barbs until PAC appears behind Darby and attacks him, leaving him bloody.
* Claudio Castagnoli def. Roderick Strong
– Claudio now has 100 wins.
– Footage is replayed of the Don Callis birthday incident, where Okada shut off a monitor that had a message for Don from Konosuke Takeshita
* Kenny Omega & Jurassic Express (Jack Perry & Luchasaurus) def. The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, Hechicero & Mark Davis)
– After the match, Matt and Nick Jackson tried to attack Jack Perry. Kenny Omega stepped in before they could hit the Meltzer Driver on Jack. Matt argued with Kenny for a moment. Then, Luchasaurus intervened and stopped everything by attacking Matt and Nick.
* Jamie Hayter def. Skye Blue
– Thekla cut a promo on Hayter from the video wall afterwards, where she hyped their match for Saturday.
– Mercedes Mone says she will be at WrestleDream but not before defending her CMLL championship and breaking the record for the longest-reigning TBS Champion on Friday.
* AEW World Trios Championship: The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Powerhouse Hobbs) (c) def. La Facción Ingobernable
– After the match, LFI jumped The Opps. RUSH spit at Hangman on commentary, so he hit the ring, taking out Dralistico and Beast Mortos. Sammy Guevara saved RUSH from a Buckshot Lariat. Joe confronted Hangman afterwards.
* Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia def. Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly
– Claudio Castagnoli and PAC got involved in the match physically. For the second time tonight, Claudio knocked out somebody with his Uppercut. The target this time was Kyle O’Reilly, and it allowed Daniel Garcia to get the pin.
– Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii came out to stop the Death Riders’ post-match attack. The numbers worked against them. Darby Allin stumbled to the ring, getting attacked by all members of the Death Riders along the way. He still managed to reach Jon Moxley in the ring. Darby pulled out the AEW flag he brought from Mount Everest and dropped it at MOX’s feet, telling him it’s not too late to quit. MOX responded by spiking him on his head with a DDT, landing him on the flag.
– Pre-match promos from Top Gods and JetSpeed Babes play.
* Megan Bayne def. Harley Cameron
– HOOK and Eddie Kingston will be facing competition at the Tailgate Brawl.
– Alicia Atout interviewed Max Caster & Anthony Bowens. They refuse to team up anymore and keep trying to highlight their solo accomplishments.
* Brodido (Brody King & ROH Champion Bandido) & Mark Briscoe def. The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer & Rocky Romero)
– After the match, Okada attacks Brodido and ends the night standing tall.
