Dragongate Appoints Tomohiro Sawai As New Global Marketing & Investor Advisor

A new executive is appointed.

An announcement from Dragongate Japan Pro-Wrestling was pushed out about a new executive who has been appointed within the organization.

Tomohiro Sawai is now serving as the new Global Marketing and Investor Advisor. Dragongate posted the message that Sawai left for Dragongate fans on their official website. That can be read here, and below is Sawai’s bio:

• 1989: Graduated from Osaka Gakuin University, Faculty of Commerce, Department of Business Administration
• 1989: Worked in the International Department of a Japanese securities firm, handling sales of Japanese stocks to foreign institutional investors
• Late 1991: Transferred to Hong Kong
• 1993: Involved in hedge fund management at a European asset management company
• 1995: Founded ICG Group, an asset management company, with a Jewish partner. Became an external manager for a Swiss private bank.
• Provided advisory services for over $200 million in assets under management by 2023, establishing and managing numerous investment funds.
• Appointed Responsible Officer at Atlas Capital, an overseas Chinese asset management firm, in 2024. Manages global growth funds and value funds.
• Currently holds Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) licenses for Investment Advice (Type 4) and Asset Management (Type 9).
• Strengths lie in Jewish and Chinese diaspora financial and media networks.
• Specializes in international economics and finance, conducting financial and economic lectures for listed companies in Japan.
• Author of numerous financial books.
